It's So Sad and Quiet
I miss you all! I miss the hustle and bustle of posts and cross posts and everything that LJ Idol is.
Had my colonoscopy this morning. It went really well and the results were very good. I got sedation and that was kind of fun. The wooze lasted for a good long time which made it a day for not making any kind of decisions beyond what am I going to eat now.
My uncle was fantastic! He came up to the clinic with me, stayed for about ten minutes, then came up to the clinic to get me when it was all over. I asked if I could go to the Dollaramma for my favorite cookies and he came in with me, then he made sure I got into the apartment alright. Couldn't have asked for a better "responsible person" to see me home. He's letting his hair "white" beautifully and he looks fantastic. Personally, I love white hair. Can't wait for mine to go white.
Been re-watching Six Feet Under. Such a great series!
Been watching Diane in Denmark YouTube videos, especially love the clothes-swap ones.
Okay, I'm going to do my dishes and go to bed.
Have a good night, friends!

I've never seen Six Feet Under, but I'm currently re-watching Breaking Bad. It's funny the things you remember and things you forget about great shows, but it's fun to see them again.
Hope you have a good night! <3

Let's hear it for "responsible people!" Yay!
I've never watched Breaking Bad, though I have heard good things about it. My next "re-watch" is going to be Lost. Can't get enough of that series. You're absolutely right, doesn't matter how many times I watch something I'm always surprised by things I missed before, sometimes I wonder how they slipped a scene in when I wasn't looking. ;-)
Take care, hon.
Love and gentle hugs,
Murielle

I mean to post more but I’m just so tired right now. Pain is kicking my ass. My knee is messed up and probably needs surgery which I don’t want. I hurt my hip because why not (I have connective tissue disease) and because apparently that was not enough fun I have a tooth ache. The kind of toothache that goes up the side of your nose and into your eye socket. I’ve been borderline migraine for days. Taking care of the baby is kicking my butt. I will not complain about that. He’s learning every day and growing so fast. He loves birds and bird songs so much.
I do read here often but I’m not writing much.

Wow, you've got so much going on right now. I'm sorry you're in so much pain. No wonder you're tired. Pain just drains the life out of us. Maybe postponing the colonoscopy a bit longer would be wise. Can you talk to your physician about that?
Sounds like your little guy is the highlight of your life! How wonderful! I love babies! Apart from how beautiful and amazing they are, they have the purest energy!
I hope your pain eases up soon.
*Hugs*

Six Feet Under is a really great series. I get quite emotional about some of it. Much of it is deep and touching, some truly hilarious moments, too. Excellent writing and acting.

Well, now I also know you didn't end up liking that sedation in the long run, but on the topic of originally liking it, I can kind of relate! I know we shouldn't feel too lighthearted about stuff like surgeries or hospitalizations, cause they CAN be serious but maaaaaaaaaan, do I feel SO relaxed after a surgery. What you said about not having to make any kind of decisions beyond what you're going to eat is so on the nose! I love when I'm in the hospital and I get to just call up and order whatever I want. I feel like damn royalty! (Although I'm kind of weird royalty because I always order squash instead of something thrilling like fancy cakes XD)
Oh, also, what happens in a clothing swap?
